The Crescent Moon Ritual is a 60-minute facial treatment designed to rebalance and rejuvenate your skin and mind. Each facial is tailored to you and uses high end, all natural products by Seed to Skin Tuscany.After thorough cleansing and gentle exfoliation, Thai herbal poultice massage is used to clear congestion and melt tension followed by gua sha and cupping, detoxifying lymphatic massage and facial sculpting, depending on your skin’s unique needs.

The Seed to Skin Facial is a 90-minute facial treatment designed by Seed to Skin to promote undeniably hydrated, smooth, and glowing skin.
After thorough cleansing and gentle exfoliation, a customised mask is applied while you enjoy a relaxing neck and shoulder massage. This is followed by advanced facial massage and gua sha that will leave your skin visibly brighter, radiant and lifted. The treatment winds down with cooling jade rollers and lymphatic drainage before final hydration and aromatherapy.
This made-to-measure skin ritual promotes visible resurfacing, intense hydration and detoxification.

The Soma Rituals signature facial is the Half Moon Ritual (90 minutes). This treatment contains all the benefits of a traditional facial with holistic massage and sound healing, and offers a deeply relaxing experience.
The Crescent Moon Ritual is an express version of the signature treatment. This treatment allows a taster of the signature treatment and is intended more as a maintenance session. This ritual does not include masking or in-depth consultation.
The Full Moon Ritual is a luxurious version of the signature facial, allowing more time for each aspect of the ritual and therefore delivering greater results and deeper levels of relaxation.
The Seed to Skin Facial is a holistic facial designed by Seed to Skin Tuscany. If you are not based in Edinburgh but would like to experience a Seed to Skin Facial, they are offered at prestigious spas around the world. See locations here.

Please do not attend your appointment if you are unwell, have cold sores or other infectious skin conditions.
If you have received botox or fillers, it is recommended to wait at least 4 weeks before receiving a facial treatment, and please let me know where you have had injectables.
The treatments are suitable for pregnant individuals as long as you are comfortable to lie on your back for the length of the treatment.

The treatments take place at Soma Rituals treatment room which is located in Edinburgh’s New Town:

When you arrive at Citibase for your appointment, please wait at reception and Chandra will meet you there. If your appointment is after 5pm or at the weekend, the reception will be closed - so please wait at the main door to the building and you will be greeted a few minutes before your scheduled appointment.

Please respect the cancellation policy. A 50% fee of the cost of your appointment will be charged if your appointment is cancelled with less than 48 hours notice.
You will be charged for the full cost of your appointment if you cancel with less than 24 hours notice.
If you are unwell, contact me as soon as possible so we can reschedule your appointment.

If possible, arrive at your facial appointment with a clean face or minimal makeup, and avoid harsh exfoliants and sun exposure.
Wear comfortable clothing to enhance your relaxation and remove jewellery where possible. I will require access to your shoulders and neck so please remove necklaces and long earrings.
During the appointment, switch off your phone or put it on silent mode to minimise distractions and fully immerse yourself in the holistic facial experience.
It’s optimal to dedicate time after your appointment where you can take it easy for the rest of the day, so you can enjoy the full benefits of rest and relaxation from your ritual.
